Tribe is Keller High School's Show Choir comprised of students in grades 9-12. This musical ensemble combines choral singing with choreographed dance. Tribe performs pop, Broadway, country-western, and holiday songs that feature singing and dancing. This group travels around the community and serves as the main ambassador of the choir.
To be a part of this exciting group, students must audition and be enrolled in an additional choir class. See tryout information for 2024-2025 school year below. Thank you for your interest in show choir!
2024-2025 SHOW CHOIR AUDITIONS
WHEN: April 11, 2024 (4:30pm - 8:00pm)
WHERE: KHS Fine Arts Center (FAC)
WHO: Students who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2024-2025 school year AND will be enrolled in a concert choir are eligible to audition.
WHAT:
- Students bring audition form (see below). The auditioner AND parent must read and sign the Tribe Commitment Statement. Bring water bottle.
- Students need to dress appropriately (leggings, warm-up pants, tennis shoes, T-shirts. NO short shorts. NO midriff baring tops.
- Students need to be ready to perform a song of their choice either with track or a cappella. Suggested styles: Broadway, Country Western, Pop, etc.
- The final list will be announced via email.
TRIBE DATES TO NOTE:
- Mandatory Parent & Student Meeting: TBD
- Mandatory Summer Rehearsal: TBD (save the 1st/2nd week of August 2024)
